Cat travel checklist

Food and water

  •   Dry food in resealable bags are good for your pet.
  •   Canned food - to add variety and water to your cat’s diet are nice options.
  •   Food and water bowls are necessary
  •   Water bottles filled with water can be helpful


Litter and accessories

  •   Litter box - preferably disposable, which has a waterproof inner lining and is made  recyclable materials
  •   Flush able cat litter - which is not heavy, can be flushed immediately after scooping and helps to keep your cat's litter box sanitary
  •   Litter scoop
  •   Cheap whisk broom and dust pan - to sweep up any stray litter when needed to do.
  •   Waste bags - to dispose of your cat’s bowel movements.
  •   Paper towels and tissues


Medications and remedies

  •   Any medications  and drugs your cat may require during journey
  •   Calming remedies (herbal remedies, meat, catnip)
  •   Medical records - especially if you have a cat with a history of health problems
  •   Your veterinarian’s clinic  phone number - emergency contact information
