 How to Tell if a Cat is Pregnant?

Recognize the signs of being in heat

Both pregnant and in heat cats will be friendly with other living creatures and pets in their area.Also they show enlarged nipples, but only cats that are pregnant will be vocal about it while rolling on the floor like a giant blueberry in a sweet factory. If your cat is whimpering, she's probably just in heat.Don't worry!


·         Cats that are in heat generally walk in different way, with their tushies thrown up into the air and their tails a bit off to the side.

Look for morning sickness

Usually cats which are In their third or fourth weeks of pregnancy, may look domesticated, and they may refuse to eat or vomit up their food. If your cat stops to eat for more than 2 days, take her to the vet.Vet checkup is really important for feline.
·     On the other hand, she may be eating too much like a pig. You would too if you were pregnant!

Check her nipples and see if they are larger

Around 35 days of pregnancy, a cat's nipples will often turn bright pink and larger. Her breasts may also enlarge, and she may express a milky fluid out of it. Enlarged nipples are also signs of being in heat, so your cat may not be pregnant just because her nipples are growing . Look for a group of signs. Give her a pregnancy test to be sure.Be live me it will work and you can easily take car of her. For the record, cats give birth in 9 weeks or so. 4time quicker than humans

Look for a characteristic "burro" shape

From the side, pregnant cats frequently look a little swayback with a slightly round and bulging tummy. If your cat  is a little fat, then she will be fat all over, including her neck and legs.
·   From the top looking down at the cat, a pregnant cat's tummy is frequently distended slightly more than halfway from the neck to the tail. Many female cats assume this burro shape.Try not to misplace pregnant cat with fat one !

Watch for nesting behaviors
Your cat may go to a quiet place with more silence, like a closet or the corner of a house, and start arranging blankets, towels or straw to create a good place to give birth to her kittens in future. You can also help her by arranging  a soft spot for her by giving a cardboard box with soft towels or blankets.This will help her to fell more comfortable and without any stress. Try to make her a warm place for giving birth.
